Moulds Event 2006 gathers companies and universities from all over the world

The two main centres in the national mouldmaking sector, Marinha Grande and Oliveira de Azeméis, organized the fifth edition of Moulds Event, between November 13th and 17th. The event converged more than 700 participants from 12 European countries, Brazil and the Unites States of America. During a week, the event held a series of seminars, debates and presentations on key-subjects that the sector faces at world scale.
Among the participants, there were 26 R&D centres, 19 universities and higher education schools, 3 training centres, 102 speakers and 72 international partners.
This year’s edition assembled a vast group of various events around themes like Industrial Property Rights, Rapid Product Development, Rapid and Virtual Prototyping, Innovation, and discussion about international technological advances in Product Development.
With the presence of important international instititutions and universities, significant meetings regarding projects like E-learning Hybrid Moulds and Eurotooling 21 were held. Memmolde Norte and Safework projects (national projects) and also e-SeSME promoted sessions during this event.
